The Duke of Bridgelum standing next to a pile of dismembered cows
Duke of Bridgelum was a scrapped random event that involved going to ScapeRune to help the Duke of Bridgelum reassemble dead cows from their component parts. The player would have to select certain cow parts (udders, hind legs, etc.) from an interface.[1]
The random event was scrapped because during testing, it was pointed out that the dismembered cow parts looked too grotesque.[2] The reward would have been pieces of the cow outfit, which are now given out as rewards during birthday events.
In the archive of MIDI music files contained within Old School RuneScape, a song exists that was intended to be used for this random event. According to Mod Ash, the title of the piece was "Autumn in Bridgelum".

"The testers at the time pointed out that the dismembered cow parts looked grotesque ("Please pass me the cow's udders!") so the project was cancelled. We kept the cow mask for posterity. It's mildly grotesque too."
