Bob Barter is one of the Market Price Guides located in the south-west corner of the Grand Exchange. If right-clicked, or asked through his dialogue, he can show players the market prices of various herbs and potions.
Bob also provides a decanting service to members, available through a right-click option or through dialogue, where he will combine any potions in the player's inventory into vials containing a specified number of doses (1-4). He accepts both un-noted and noted potions. He will also decant barbarian potions, olive oil, sacred oil, and calquat kegs. He will not decant beer glasses to calquat kegs, though. He will return the resulting decanted potions and empty vials as notes if the player gave him notes to begin with or if the player wouldn't have enough inventory space to hold all the potions and vials in their requested doses. If the player does not have enough empty vials in their inventory to hold the requested potions, Bob will automatically sell them the required number of vials at their current Grand Exchange price plus 2 coins each.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Bob's name is a play on Bob Barker, the name of the former host of the game show The Price is Right, and the word "barter."
- When asking him for prices on an F2P world, the prices for herbs are listed, but the herbs' names are not displayed - they are all called "Members object."
- In one go, Bob can decant up to 2,147,483,647 (the maximum number of items allowed in a stack) doses of up to 27 types of potions.
- While decanting potions, Bob may say various lines of dialogue, among them the line, "Two plus two is four, minus one that's three..." This line is a reference to the song "Man's Not Hot" by Big Shaq.
