"Maul" is a word used to refer to certain two-handed blunt weapons. Similar to the one-handed warhammer, they can deal large amounts of damage. They are only a few of them, as they are not one of the groups of metal weapons.

Mauls are very popular in PvP due to their level requirements and high damage output, making them ideal for pure builds. They are one of the few weapon types where Strength is a notable requirement.
