Blowpipes are two-handed Light Ranged weapons that fire darts. The attack range of blowpipes is 5 tiles, and 7 when using longrange.

In player versus monster encounters, the base attack speed of blowpipes is 3, matching that of darts. However, in player versus player encounters, the base attack speed of blowpipes is 4.

Blowpipes are made using the Fletching skill. Standard blowpipes are made using two camphor, ironwood or rosewood logs, and a squid beak obtained from lantern harpooning. The toxic blowpipe is made by using a chisel on a tanzanite fang, a rare drop from Zulrah.

Like darts, blowpipes are considered thrown weapons.
