The golden prospector helmet is a cosmetic variant of the prospector helmet obtained by using a star fragment on it, which costs 3,000 stardust from Dusuri's Star Shop.

Like its original variant, the helmet grants 0.4% bonus Mining experience and is increased to 2.5% when wearing the full prospector kit. It can also be used as a substitute for the hard Falador diary task.

Unlike its original variant, it can not be sold back to Percy.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Prospector kit (golden) set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
