A Slayer cape is the Cape of Accomplishment for players who have achieved level 99 in the Slayer skill. The cape can be purchased for 99,000 coins from Duradel (slayer master), in Shilo Village. Slayer capes are black in colour, and have a red trim if the player has more than one level 99 skill. Note that since Duradel is in Shilo Village, the Shilo Village quest must be completed before the player can obtain the Slayer cape.

Like all skill capes, the Slayer cape gives +9 to all defensive stats, and also a +4 bonus to prayer if it is trimmed, which requires a separate skill at level 99. The cape is automatically trimmed if this condition is met.

When the slayer cape is equipped or in your inventory, there is a 10% chance of being given the option to have a previous slayer task reassigned when speaking to a slayer master in person or through the NPC Contact spell. For slayer assigments from Konar quo Maten, the location she asks players to slay can be different from the previous task. For any boss assignments, the boss assigned can be different from the previous task. The cape also allows players to use slayer masters with combat level restrictions which they do not meet.

This item can be stored in the cape rack of a costume room, as part of the Slayer cape set, along with the hood. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

As of 22 May 2021, there are 80,331 current members that have achieved level 99 in Slayer.
