Raw tetra are a type of fish found only fishing spots within the Ruins of Camdozaal. In order to catch this fish, players require level 33 in Fishing and a small or big fishing net. Each catch grants 24 Fishing experience.

Unlike other fish, tetra are not eaten and are instead prepared at the preparation table for ritual offerings at the mysterious altar, requiring level 33 Cooking and granting 31 experience when successful. Players may ruin the tetra during preparation, resulting in a ruined tetra; the chance of failure while preparing these will decrease as players reach higher Cooking levels. Tetra stop ruining at Cooking level 61. However, players can stop ruining tetra around level 54 Cooking if they purchase the Preparation buff from Ramarno's Shard Exchange for 2500 Barronite shards.
