An unfinished batta was previously obtained during Gnome cooking when making a Fruit batta. It could be made by adding four equa leaves to a Half baked batta, then baking it. Players then could add lime chunks, orange chunks, and pineapple chunks in any order, before finally adding Gnome spice. If a mistake was made at any point, a Odd batta would be received instead.

As this process was unnecessarily intricate, it was altered with the Gnome Restaurant rework in 2006. Now, all ingredients are automatically added to create a Half made batta, which can then be cooked to produce the new Unfinished batta. Once again, gnome spice is used to convert this into a Fruit batta.

Because the item was removed before 2007, it has never been present in Old School RuneScape. However, it remains in the game files.
