Morvran's chathead

Morvran is the nephew of Lord Iorwerth. During Regicide, he makes a brief appearance after you exit the Underground Pass. With the help of Essyllt, he slays Idris. During Song of the Elves, he appears when he brings Eoin as a hostage.

Following the events of Song of the Elves quest, he resides in Iorwerth Dungeon.

• The word Morvran is made up of the Middle Welsh words mawr, meaning "big", and brân, meaning "crow".
  • The name is parallel to the Celtic spelling, Morfran, with only the f changed to a v. The Older Welsh usage is likely due to Jagex's usual use of the Welsh language in most of the Elven names in the game. In Welsh mythology, Morvran is a character often depicted as dark, demon-like and very ugly.
• In RuneScape, Morvran is the third-highest Slayer Master, requiring a Combat level of 120 and Slayer level of 85 to receive tasks from.
