3rd age platelegs are 3rd Age armour, requiring 65 Defence to equip. They have the third highest defence bonuses of all non-degradable melee leg slot items, only surpassed by the justiciar legguards and torva platelegs. 3rd age platelegs are only obtainable as a reward from hard, elite, and master tier Treasure Trails.

They have slightly better melee defence than bandos tassets, however they lack strength bonus. Due to that and their price, they are rarely used.

This item can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room, provided that the interface of the corresponding clue tier is opened before attempting to store the item. Alternatively, the item can be used on the opened treasure chest to insert it without viewing the interface.
