Godsword hilt

A Godsword hilt is an item dropped by the five Bosses (but not any of the sub-bosses) of each God from the God Wars Dungeon. The hilts come in 5 different varieties, Zamorakian, Saradominist, Bandosian, Armadylean, and Zarosian Godsword hilts may be attached to a Godsword blade to create either an Armadyl godsword, a Bandos godsword, a Saradomin godsword, Ancient godsword or a Zamorak godsword.

Changing a hilt only changes the Godsword's appearance and Special attack - its bonuses do not change.

The hilt is the most expensive part of the Godsword. The Godsword blade is unusable until a hilt is attached.

Unlike making the Godsword blade, adding and removing hilts does not require a Smithing level.

Ancient hilt

Attaching the ancient hilt to a Godsword blade creates an ancient godsword. The special attack of the Ancient godsword is called Blood Sacrifice. The special attack:

Inflicts damage with a 10% higher maximum hit than a normal attack;
If the target does not move at least five tiles away from the attacker, they will take 25 damage (12 if using Protect from Magic), and the attacker will be healed for the same amount;
Has a 50% Special bar drain.

Armadyl hilt

Attaching the Armadyl hilt to a Godsword blade creates an Armadyl godsword. The special attack of the Armadyl godsword is called The Judgement. The special attack:

Inflicts 37.5% more damage;
Has a 50% Special bar drain.

Bandos hilt

Attaching the Bandos hilt to a Godsword blade creates a Bandos godsword. The special attack of the Bandos godsword is called Warstrike. The special attack:

Drains your opponent's combat statistics by the damage hit;
- Statistics are drained in the following order: Defence, Strength, Prayer, Attack, Magic, Ranged.
Deals an extra 21% damage;
Has a 50% Special bar drain.

Saradomin hilt

Attaching the Saradomin hilt to a Godsword blade creates a Saradomin godsword. The special attack of the Saradomin godsword is called Healing Blade. The special attack:

Inflicts an extra 10% damage.
Restores half of the damage to Hitpoints and a quarter to Prayer points.
- A minimum of 10 hitpoints and 5 Prayer points are received, as long as it hits.
Has a 50% Special bar drain.

Zamorak hilt

Attaching the Zamorak hilt to a Godsword blade creates a Zamorak godsword. The special attack of the Zamorak godsword is called Ice Cleave. The special attack:

Inflicts an extra 10% damage.
Freezes opponent for 20 seconds with a similar animation to Ice Barrage.
Has a 50% Special bar drain.
