The profitability of this method varies greatly depending on your current fishing level, as this determines both the rate at which you catch fish and the proportion of shrimps vs anchovies. For more details, see the chart below.

Neither raw shrimps (32) nor raw anchovies (24) are worth much, but they have very low requirements to fish and provide decent low level Fishing experience. Draynor Village is the most viable fishing spot as it offers the closest bank. Small nets can be purchased from fishing shops or found from an item spawn south of Lumbridge near the Fishing tutor.

This table assumes fishing until an inventory of 27 fish is filled and it takes ~15 seconds per banking cycle of travel. If there is a large discrepancy between the prices of raw shrimps (32) versus raw anchovies (24), you may find it more profitable to simply drop the cheaper fish.

Cooking

The raw shrimps and raw anchovies can be cooked; however, this cuts deeply into your profits and is not recommended if your aim is simply to accumulate coins. Grand exchange prices between the cooked and uncooked versions are often unfavourable. Also, there is a chance to burn the fish and make it worthless if your cooking level is not sufficiently high.
