Going to Keldagrim for the first time.

The Blast Furnace provides a great opportunity for players to reap great profits by producing a large volume of runite bars (worth 12,223 each), which are used by high-level smiths.

With moderate attention, you can produce between 1,850 and 2,150 runite bars in an hour. That means the profit margin falls between 2,532,761 and 2,961,461 hourly.

This money making method requires you are on an official Blast Furnace world. There is a bank chest here, so bank coal, runite ore, sufficient stamina potions, and at least 72,000 coins. Deposit the coins into the coffer next to the bank chest to be allowed to use the furnace by the dwarves operating it. The coffer will remove 1,200 coins every minute automatically.

Start by placing runite ore on the conveyor belt first, then emptying your coal bag of coal and depositing that right after. Do three trips of just coal after, and in the third coal trip retrieve your bars from the bar dispenser by clicking on it. Then, do another trip of runite ore and coal, and immediately retrieve a second inventory of bars. Repeat this process from the beginning until you either run out of ore, or the coffer is empty.

The Coal bag allows you to bring 27 extra pieces of coal with you each trip from the bank to the furnace. Without using one, you should expect to earn a little more than one-half of the output totaling up to 1,603,911 hourly and up to 60,000 Smithing experience.

After travelling to Keldagrim once, the city and the Blast Furnace can be easily accessed by using the travel option on the trapdoor on the inside west-wall of the Grand Exchange.

Tip: Some players choose to sell runite bars through direct player-to-player trades to avoid the 2% Grand Exchange tax, especially when selling in large quantities. Community clan chats can sometimes assist with coordinating trades or connecting with bulk buyers. Runite bars are often sold player-to-player in Varrock west bank, World 308.
