Xeric's talisman is an amulet that can be charged using lizardman fangs (costing 12 coins per charge) that allows the player to teleport to various locations throughout Great Kourend. The talisman was once owned by Xeric, a tyrannical ruler who reigned over Great Kourend during the Age of Strife nearly 1,030 years ago.

The amulet is an untradeable rare drop from killing lizardmen, brutes, and shamans, or can alternatively be obtained by stealing from stone chests in the Lizardman Temple beneath Molch. The drop rate from monsters can be improved from 1/250 to 1/125 after completion of the easy Kourend & Kebos Diary, but the drop rate from the stone chests remains at 1/300 regardless of diary completion. It can most easily be obtained from the lizardmen at a small skirmish next to a tent just slightly north of Lacerta Falls due to the abundance of NPC allies, multicombat fighting, and quick respawns.

Xeric's Talisman teleport locations

Upon obtaining the talisman, it is inert and uncharged. Each fang provides one charge for the talisman which can hold a maximum of 1,000 charges. The charges can be refunded, returning the fangs used to charge it and reverting the talisman to its inert state. Players can configure the charges while the talisman is in their bank by right-clicking on Configure-Charges, as long as players have the required materials.

All teleports are available by default except for Xeric's Honour. To permanently unlock this location, a player must first use an ancient tablet on the amulet. The tablet is obtained as a 1/10 chance reward from the Ancient chest after the Chambers of Xeric raid.

At level 72 Construction, the Xeric's talisman can be mounted in a player's Portal Nexus room within their player-owned house. This requires an inert Xeric's talisman, 1 mahogany plank, 1 gold leaf and 5,000 lizardman fangs. While mounted, the talisman provides unlimited teleport charges.

It is possible to obtain multiple talismans, though the charges are not shared and multiple charged talismans will not stack in the bank. Extra talismans can be dismantled, providing 100 lizardman fangs, giving it an indirect value of 1,200.

Trivia

• The Xeric's talisman can be dismantled by using a pet rock on it, resulting in a message saying "You bash the talisman with the rock, smashing it into fang-like shards.".
• During development, the name 'Xeric's Pride' was considered as an alternative to 'Xeric's Glade' for the teleportation destination in Hosidius, due to the suggestive shape of the pathway prior to the Architectural Alliance update on 3 March 2016.
