The profit rate assumes 3 kills per hour. Your actual profit may be higher or lower depending on your skill, levels, and team. An average group of random players should expect roughly 30 minute queen kills (2 kph), including time spent forming a team, and accounting for the occasional player quitting midway through. An average group of players who already have a basic familiarity with their roles should expect 20 minute queen kills (3 kph), this level of proficiency is about what one would have after reaching level 5 in all roles. A more practised group who are good at their roles and employ some advanced techniques should expect to see around 16 minute queen kills (~4 kph), this includes the use of some of the more simple stalls, some coordination between teammates, and the Attacker having high combat stats. Assuming no mistakes and completion of the hard Kandarin Diary, each full clear from waves 1-10 gives about enough points for 1 high gamble.
This guide lists item and stat requirements primarily for the "Attacker" role in Barbarian assault, and assumes you are the team leader. If you are not the team leader, then stall items (mind shields and skillcapes) are not needed. If you are not Attacker, then you will not need any weapons, and can get by with much lower stats. Having at least decent Hitpoints and Defence is still useful regardless of role, as well as wearing more defensive armours. If you are not in a good team, the Crystal halberd special attack is unlikely to prove useful as it requires ensuring the aggression of the Penance is controlled to allow stacking many of them in one spot.
