The Mining Guild, located in and beneath Falador, is a guild for expert miners available to players with at least 60 Mining (can be boosted). The mine is accessible from either the Mining Guild's above-ground complex in the south-east of the city, or through the gate at the southern end of the Dwarven Mine. Both of these entrances are guarded by dwarves who will answer questions about the guild and stop players without the requirements from entering the guild. The guildmaster, Gadrin, also sells the Mining cape to those who have achieved level 99 Mining.

This mine is one of many where three iron rocks can be mined without moving, thus ideal for power-mining.

Transportation

• Players may use a skills necklace to teleport to the underground entrance.
• Casting Falador Teleport will transport a player to the Falador town square, just north-west of the guild entrance.
• The Keldagrim mine cart system can be used to travel to the north-west corner of the Dwarven Mine. From there, players can follow the mines south until they reach the underground entrance.
• The Explorer's ring 2, 3, and 4 will teleport you into the cabbage field south of the Falador Dwarven Mine entrance.

In addition, there are two shops found in the centre: Yarsul's Prodigious Pickaxes, which sells pickaxes, and Hendor's Awesome Ores, which sells ores (with zero stock).

There is an exit to the east, which leads to the Motherlode Mine. As the Motherlode Mine is a members-only area, using this exit requires the player be on a members' world.

Members' area

Other than Old School RuneScape membership, there are no additional requirements to enter the members' area.

The members' area contains the following rocks:

While inside this area of the guild, players will receive an invisible +7 level boost to their Mining. This boost will stack with any existing boosts the player already has, such as the visible +3 boost from using the dragon pickaxe's special attack as well as the invisible +4 boost from the Celestial ring/Celestial signet, though visible boosts are capped to level 99. However, the invisible boost will not allow a player to perform actions above their base level. In addition, the respawn time for rocks mined in this area is halved.

This area is the only location in which players can mine amethyst crystals (with the mining area west of the bank requiring completion of the Elite Falador Diary). Players must speak to Belona to access the diary-only mining area.

Mining any of the rocks in this area gives a chance of receiving unidentified minerals. These can be traded in for mining gloves or superior mining gloves from Belona's shop, Mining Guild Mineral Exchange. If players do not want to receive them, they can be disabled by right-clicking "Toggle-minerals" on Belona.

When using an infernal pickaxe in the members area of the Mining Guild, the Smithing effect will NOT negate the ability to receive unidentified minerals upon its proc.

Bank chest

There is also a bank chest, a bank deposit box, and a poll booth inside the guild. The chest was added in 2017 alongside amethyst.

6 July 2017 (Update)	The members-only area of the Mining Guild is now a safe area in PvP worlds.
22 June 2017 (Update | poll)	The free-to-play area now also contains 2 Adamantite and 4 Iron rocks. Two new shops have been added for pickaxes and ores. The ore shop has no stock by default. A members-only area has been added with: a bank, a deposit box, a poll booth, 8 Iron rocks, 20 Coal rocks, 10 Mithril rocks, 8 Adamantite rocks, and 2 Runite rocks. The members-only Mining Guild area has two more passive bonuses: rocks respawn 50% faster, and you get an invisible +7 Mining level boost. This boost helps players mine ores more successfully, but doesn't unlock higher-level rocks. It also stacks with other Mining boosts.
