Aquanites are Slayer monsters found in the Ynysdail Cavern beneath Ynysdail. They require level 78 Slayer to fight, and Ynysdail requires level 73 Sailing to access. Aquanites can be assigned by Nieve and Duradel after being unlocked for 80 Slayer reward points. There is also a task extension unlock available for 100 points.

Aquanites can drop the unique aquanite tendon, used to make the aquanite hopper. They have a very high drop rate for coral frags compared to other monsters.

If attacked with a weapon set to slash, their lure will be severed and their stab defence will be reduced by 50 (from 60 to 10), displaying the message Your attack cuts off the aquanite's lure! This attack does not need to deal damage to sever the lure.

While on an aquanite slayer task, there is a 1/200 chance that an Elder Aquanite will spawn after you kill an aquanite (if you have Bigger and Badder unlocked).
