The celestial ring is a mining enhancer from the Shooting Stars activity, purchased from Dusuri's Star Shop for 2,000 stardust.

Whether or not the ring is charged, it provides players an invisible +4 boost to Mining; this stacks with both visible and invisible boosts. This bonus does not allow the player to receive ores higher than their level range or deal more damage within the Path of Het puzzle room.

The ring can be combined with an elven signet at a singing bowl, alongside 100 crystal shards and 1,000 stardust, to create the celestial signet, which combines the effects of both. Doing so requires level 70 Smithing and Crafting; if the player does not meet the Smithing and Crafting requirements, they can have Conwenna or Reese sing the crystal for them for an extra 50 crystal shards, for a total of 150.

Charging

[edit | edit source]

Players can charge the ring with stardust, with each one added giving one charge (up to a maximum of 10,000). Players can configure the charges while the ring is in their bank by right-clicking on Configure-Charges, as long as players have the required materials.

When charged, the ring has 1/10 chance of giving an extra resource when mining rocks up to adamantite, with some exceptions, granting experience for both mined resources. If the player has only one inventory slot remaining and the ring's passive effect activates, the player will lose out on both the extra resource and the extra experience.[1] This effect stacks with other mining enhancers.

Uncharging the ring will remove all charges with the remaining stardust returned to the player.

Degradation

[edit | edit source]

Every time an ore is mined from a suitable rock, a charge will be lost from the ring whether or not a second ore is mined. Mining rocks that do not benefit from the multiplicative effect do not consume charges. For example, mining shooting stars does not degrade the ring, however the player is still affected by the invisible +4 Mining boost.
