Cape

Cape is a term applied to any kind of equipable item worn in the cape slot that resembles a cape or cloak (as opposed to a backpack). Below are some of the many different types of cape that players can wear in Old School RuneScape.

	Green cape	Bought from Barkers' Haberdashery in Canifis. Made by using green dye on a regular cape.
	Orange cape	Made by using orange dye on a regular cape.
	Pink cape	Made by using pink dye on a regular cape.
	Purple cape	Made by using purple dye on a regular cape.
	Red cape	Bought from Barkers' Haberdashery in Canifis. Made by using red dye on a regular cape.
	Yellow cape	Bought from Barkers' Haberdashery in Canifis. Made by using yellow dye on a regular cape.
	Cape of legends	Bought from Legends Guild Shop of Useful Items in the Legends' Guild after completing the Legends' Quest.
	Cape of skulls	Obtained from easy Treasure Trails. Skulls the player upon equipping it.
	Champion's cape	Obtained in the Champions' Guild after defeating all champions in the Champions' Challenge.
	Deadman's cape	Bought from Justine's stuff for the Last Shopper Standing for 160 Last Man Standing points.
	Eagle cape	Made during and after Eagles' Peak quest by bringing 5 eagle feathers, 1 swamp tar, yellow dye and 25 coins to Asyff in Varrock.
	Fire cape	A reward from defeating TzTok-Jad in the TzHaar Fight Cave.
	Gauntlet cape	Obtained after completing The Corrupted Gauntlet.
	Graceful cape	Bought from Grace's Graceful Clothing in the Rogues' Den. Part of Graceful clothing.
	Graceful cape (Trailblazer)	Graceful cape that is recoloured brown by using a Trailblazer graceful ornament kit on it.
	Graceful cape (Agility Arena)	Graceful cape that is recoloured dark blue by speaking to Pirate Jackie the Fruit for 250 agility arena tickets requiring the full set to be dyed.
	Graceful cape (Hallowed)	Graceful cape that is recoloured by using dark dye bought from Mysterious Stranger for 300 hallowed marks.
	Graceful cape (Kourend)	Graceful cape recoloured to white by talking to Osten with 15 marks of grace. Requires completion of all five house quests in the Great Kourend quest series.
	Graceful cape (Arceuus)	Graceful cape recoloured to a house of Great Kourend by talking to Osten with 15 marks of grace. Requires completion of the corresponding house quest in the Great Kourend quest series.

	Obsidian cape	Dropped from the various TzHaar monsters or purchased from TzHaar-Hur-Tel's Equipment Store for 90,000 Tokkul.
	Obsidian cape (r)	Obtained as a reward from master Treasure Trails.
	Spotted cape	Made by bringing two spotted kebbit furs and 400 coins to the Fancy Clothes Store in Varrock. Requires 40 Hunter to equip.
	Spottier cape	Made by bringing two dashing kebbit furs and 800 coins to the Fancy Clothes Store in Varrock. Requires 66 Hunter to equip.
	Mixed hide cape	Made with a Mixed hide base and Jaguar fur, and either a needle and thread or by giving the materials to Pellem. The only tradeable cape with a strength bonus.
	Soul cape	A reward from the Soul Wars minigame. Has +8 Prayer bonus.
	Team cape i	Obtained as a reward from easy Treasure Trails. Equipping the cape shows other player's wearing the same cape as blue dots the minimap and the left-click attack option is moved to the right-click menu while in the Wilderness.

	Cloak of ruin	Released with the rest of the Robes of Ruin, the cloak of ruin is a cosmetic reward initially released with the 2022 Halloween event.
	Clue hunter cloak	Dig with a spade between two willow trees south-east of Yanille as part of Crack the Clue.
	Cobweb cape	The cobweb cape was initially released with the 2023 Halloween event. It can be changed into the Web cloak by right clicking and selecting Change
	Gnome child backpack	The gnome child backpack is an item that can be obtained from participating in any birthday event, and was first obtained from the 2023 Birthday event.
	Ornate cape	Obtained from completing a clue during the Crack the Clue II event.
	Rainbow cape	A reward from Pride events, initially released in 2024.
	Sack of coal	The sack of coal is a cosmetic reward from the 2022 Christmas event.
	Sack of presents	Cosmetic reward from the 2016 Christmas event obtainable from Diango.
	Snow imp costume tail	Cosmetic reward from the 2017 Christmas event obtainable from Diango.
	Witch cape	Released with the rest of the witch costume, the witch cape is a cosmetic reward initially released with the 2022 Halloween event.
